Understand your symptoms
Thyroid symptoms can be elusive. Your symptoms may vary depending on if you are underproducing or overproducing any of the thyroid hormones. A licensed clinician can help you better understand what you are experiencing.
Book a convenient, online appointment
Your HIPAA-secure Virtual Care Visit will include a 20 to 30 minute video call with a licensed board-certified nurse practitioner. Book a time that fits your schedule and get the medical guidance you need to address your thyroid health concerns.
Get medical advice
Your clinician can assess your symptoms and medical history, and help provide guidance on next steps. Additional testing may be recommended to narrow the cause of your symptoms and help you feel your best.
A thyroid disorder may involve levels of thyroid hormones that are either too low (hypothyroidism) or too high (hyperthyroidism). Common symptoms of a thyroid disorder include:
- Fatigue or hyperactivity
- Depression or anxiety
- Weight gain or weight loss without any significant changes to diet or exercise
- Constipation or diarrhea
- Sensitivity to cold or heat
- Mood swings
- Muscle aches and weakness
- Changes to menstrual cycle
A Virtual Care Visit may be right for you if you are experiencing mild symptoms that you’d like to discuss with a healthcare provider. A Virtual Care Visit may not be right if you are already diagnosed with a thyroid disorder.
If you are experiencing any severe symptoms such as pain in your neck, trouble breathing or swallowing, or a palpable lump in the front of your throat, please seek in-person care right away.
