About this test

The annual-physical set in one visit: blood count, metabolic panel, cholesterol, urinalysis, A1c, and PSA. A baseline to compare against over time.

Testosterone is the main male hormone and matters for energy, libido, mood, and muscle. Total testosterone is the starting point; free testosterone adds detail when the total is borderline.

A morning draw, before 10 a.m., gives the most comparable number. LH and estradiol help explain a low result.

Reading your result

Your report lists each marker next to the lab’s reference range, with plain-language context for what a value above or below that range can mean. Results are read together: one number outside its range is common, and a clinician weighs it alongside the others and how you feel.
